Who can become President of Somaliland?

Under the Constitution of Somaliland, Article 82, a presidential candidate must meet nine conditions, including:

  1. Being a citizen born in Somaliland.
  2. Being a Muslim who practises the Islamic faith.
  3. Being at least forty (40) years old.
